The western said skincare for my age are only face washing and moiturising. (Some of them add toner, but the other said it unnecesarry)
But the asian style one giving me mooree complicated list..Well, I'm asian my self :3
I found about this skincare on my high school year and give it a try.
I'm an Indonesian, although Indonesia is in asia but most of woman doesn't seem to care about this skincare things.
They just do skincare like western one, but sadly the simple western style didn't works for me. I don't have any skin problem, but my skin doesn't seems so good either.
And some of the western product does irritates my skin especially the toners or astringent.
I got lighten up when someone said I'm looks like a chinese, in fact my mom does looks like one, my cousin said we're actually have the genetic.
I was tanned for long time of my life so I never notice, but when I started to bring my natural complexion back, yeah, its fair-yellowish.
So I have the thought should I try an asian regimen since my skin looks like one?
And thanks to the mighty lord, this asian regimen is the part of my life now.hahaha
Asian Skincare Chart from hope-inablog.com |
1.Washing face:
Washing face have no difference in Asian and Western style.
First I wash my face with HadaLabo Tamagohada Face Wash, or sometimes I use baby soap if I think that's enough. You Know??Baby soap is the most gentle soap on earth!
2.Toning
In Korean they also calls toners as skin, or freshner. Japanese doesnt have toner, they have lotion instead.
Well, actually I don't use toner, but I use japanese lotion. I've been avoiding toner or astringent because they irritates my skin. What I'm using here is HadaLabo Gokujyun Light Lotion.
3.Essence/Serum
If you're under 20 essence isn't neccesary but I just wanna try~ for this part I got my self Hadalabo Shiryojun Arbutin Essence.
Hadalabo Shiryojun Range |
4.Moisturize
In Korea they have moisturizer, lotion and emulsion, while in Japan, moisturizer is known as milk.
My main moisturizer is Hadalabo Gokujyun Milk, but sometimes I use Hadalabo Shiryojun Milk or Etude Skin Malgem Emulsion.
5.Special Treatment
On this step I have my The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil for treats acne, you can also use spot treatment or wrinkle fillers.
6.Sun Protection
Sunscreen is a MUST!
I live in an extremely humid hot weather!
I use Acnes UV Tint Sunscreen spf30++. If I need more protection I use Rohto Skin Aqua spf50+++
7.Make Up
I don't use make up, only an eyeliner and lipbalm and mentholatum acnes face powder. And layering other make up will give me scary bumps O_o
I never use make up in my High School, but I dunno people keep saying I'm using.
One day my junior come and said "Wahh you use eyebrow pencil!and blush on?!"
First, my eyebrow are ALWAYS like this, and that's not blush on, my face get the rosy cheeked whenever the temperature become hotter and will become easily red all over on the mid-day.blehh..
Night regimen,
of course night is slightly different with morning.
1.Double cleanse
Double clease is two step cleansing found in asian regimen, first cleansing your make up, and second wash your face.
I only do washing face because I didn't put any make up :D still with my favourite HadaLabo Tamagohada Facial Wash. But if I have make up on, I take my biore cleansing oil before washing face.
2.Toning
We meet Hadalabo gokujyun light lotion again, sometimes I use Etude Skin Malgem Deep Moist also whenever I need more moisture
Etude Skin Malgem Range Shinee Pick ^^ |
3.Essence
Only have the hadalabo shiryojun essence. So...yeah...
4.Moisture
for night time I use hadalabo gokujyun deep moist cream. Its thicker than the milk, but doesn't feel heavy :D

5.Special Treatment
Again, The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil :D
additional treament
-Face Mask
For face mask my favourite is Body Shop Tea Tree Face mask, it did help me control the growth of acne and pimples :D Also the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Pack. Recently just fond of My Beauty Diary Black Pearl Face Mask ^^
-Scrub/Peeling
I choose peeling rather than scrub, because scrub feels harsh on my skin, my HG product is the Cure Natural Aqua Gel, its natural and mild but do the job perfectly :D

I was always wanted to try hadalabo but I found it expensive >< luckily they built a factory here in my country so the price is so faarrrr cheaper than on the online shop now~
Now i love Japan not only for the anime and food but also the cosmetic range. LOL
Btw my skin is fair, normal-oily combination, very sensitive, and easily get acne if I do something wrong to it.
I do reccomend those skincare steps and product, but it will work different in every person :D
How about your skincare regimen?whats your HG skincare product??
