Fighting Cyst Acne : My Korean Skincare Routine Updated

helllooooo everyone, im sorry, havent post anything for a loooooooooooooong time
so busy with my uni life TvT

Today im gonna share about my newly updaated skincare routine. yes, a skincare to fight my cystic-hormonal-PCOS-Acne.
I have a flawless almost perfect skin until i went 20, that time i though it was loreal night cream (which i just tried for few weeeks) that cause my acne. But my skin dint calmed down at all!!
i went to see the best dermatologist in town, spent a lot of money for....nothing...
yes, nothing at all. it didnt get better at all!!

Then i realised something, i didnt get my period for about 3 months (no, im not pregnant),laterfound out that i have PCOS, which is the main cause of this hormonal acne. SO i started to go "clean eating" diet, (cause everyone with pcos brag about it making their skin better). and yeah, my cyst went better. but seriously, i cant just leave my face struggle without skincare, and just bid my soul to "rabbit food"(said by Dean Winchester, supernatural fans everyone...).

about 2 month ago i found an amazing post about skincare on This Amazing Blog , thank you very much for the lady over there. You saved my life. I try to catch up with the concept of how important acid is for our face, and found out on another post what the best toner for cystic acne (horrayy!!)

So this is my skincare regime.

Step 1 Cleansing Make Up (Night Only)
On night time, i do the double cleansing method (on the morning just skip this step) first i take off all my make up using those two baby.
My concern finding makeup remover is only it doesnt irritate my skin. First i use make up remover wipes to clean up my eye and lips remover before piles up cleansing cream and wipe it (with that wipes again) and wash my face with water.

The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Tissue
HolikaHolika Soda Pore Cleansing Cream

Step 2 Gel Type Face Cleanser
for the second step of double cleansing, i wash my face with gel type facial wash.  Remember this, if you have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin stick to Gel type facial cleanser. Ive tried those rich facial foam type, even for acne and for oily skin, it brings me new pimples. And most of gel type face wash work just well for me. (nivea, himalaya herbal, etc).  I love brushing my face every now and then, using this brush.
Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetal Purifying Cleansing Gel
Nu skin Pure Cleansing Gel
-The Body Shop Facial Brush

Step 3 Acid Toner
This is the main part which save my skin, theres some tone i want to try, but im afraid it doesnt suit my skin. So i run for the natural option.
Apple cider vinegar dilutes in water with 1:1 ratio. It works wonder!!the only cons is..this thing smells a lot. TvT

Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar

Step 4 Hypoallergic Moisturizing Toner / Lotion
On the 4th step i use hypoallergic moisturizing toner or lotion with small amount of AHA/BHA (or mild exfoliant agent). I use Hadalabo after Skin malgeum or wonder pore or fairy water at night, in the morning i just choose one of the toner without hadalabo lotion.
Etude House Skin Malgeum Fresh
Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner
Hadalabo Light Moisturizing Lotion
Holika Holike Pure Fresh Fairy Water

Step 5 Acid Serum
This is the only serum i use, and i love it. This serum howevwr have cons. It quickly oxisidise outside refigerstor. But overalll i love this serum.
OST C20 Serum

Step 6 Light Hypoallergic Moisturizer
Choosing moisturizer can be very tricky, once again go for gel type, and water based product. Oil based product tend to trigger acne. My favourite are this 3 moisturizer, and i cant choose whoch one i love better.

Holika Holika Moist Aloe Soothing Gel
Holika Holika Fairu Water Pure Fresh Emulsion
Nuskin Skin Enchancer

STEP 7 Spot Treatment
My Holy Grail acne treatment is Nu Skin Epoch Bleamish Treatment, its the only blemish treatment that sink up to the skin, and doest drying up my skin.

Nu Skin Epoch Blemish Treatment (For Acne SPot Treatment)
Acnes Spot Care(For erasing acne scar)
Acnes Point Clear (For pores around my nose)

Step 8 Sunscreen (Day Only)
Im very aware of what sun could do to our skin, i hate when my skin goes tan or burn under the sun. So i always applied Sunscreen everyday, dont use it at night and dont forget to wash it off before bed. (and FYI im a sunscreen freak). I have more tubes of sunscreen but only take pic of my favourite.

Etude House Sunprise Mild Watery Finish
Etude House Sunprise Natural Corrector
Rohto Mentholatum Acnes UV Tint
The Face Shop Natural Sun Aqua Sun Gel
The Face Shop Natural Power Lasting Sunscreen (not pictured, left on my purse)
Skin Aqua Uv Moisture Milk
Innisfree Eco Safety Cooling Sun Spray

Special Treatment
"Face Mask
For face mask my favourite is Body Shop Tea Tree Face mask, it did help me control the growth of acne and pimples :D Also the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Pack.  Recently just fond of My Beauty Diary Black Pearl Face Mask ^^
-Scrub/Peeling
I choose peeling rather than scrub, because scrub feels harsh on my skin, my HG product is the Cure Natural Aqua Gel, its natural and mild but do the job perfectly :D "

well my special treatment still same as it is on my previous skincare, only i add some more product so this is the list

1.Peeling
-Holika Holika Smoothie Peeling Gel
-NuSkin Polishing Peel

2.Face Pack:
The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask
Himalaya Herbal Purifying Neem Face Mask
Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Pack

3.Mask Sheet:
My Beauty Diary Sheet Mask
HolikaHolika Tea Cafe Mask Sheet
Face Shop Real Nature Mask Sheet

sorry haven't take picture of those things

Andddd....thats all my skincare. I hope you find skin regime that suits you :)
